Freshwater Pearl Lariat Necklace
Freshwater Pearl Lariat Necklace
Artist: Wendy Lin
Glass beads, Freshwater Pearls
18” long
The lariat is made in an off-loom weaving method - netting.
Tiny glass seed beads are netted together to form a rope. The rope is made by hand with needle and nylon thread. Each individual strand is delicate but when they are netted together, they form a single strong piece that can be tied or knotted like a scarf.
