By Sholeh Regna.
These ceramic birds are individually created sculptures. Though not an exact likeness of the feathered creature, each piece aims to capture the spirit of the bird it represents. The large hole in some of the birds serves two purposes: it not only allows for a positive message to be nested inside the sculpture, to embue it with a wish or a good thought for you, but also provides a convenient way to hang the bird on a nail. The small secondary hole will allow you to orient the bird on the wall by employing a second nail.
