Bonnie House studied Graphic Design at Kutztown University of Pennsylvania and Rochester Institute of Technology. She taught Graphic Design at Fitchburg State College where her research was directed towards painting representational watercolor landscapes before turning her interests to glass. She has been working full time with kiln formed glass since 2001.
Drawing primarily from nature, her glass landscape paintings evoke a sense of place one can readily relate to. Her glass ornaments relate thematically to nature as well.
She has taken intensive workshops in kiln formed glass since 2001. When she isnít travelling to workshops, Bonnie can be found most days experimenting with glass in her studio in rural Phillipston, Massachusetts.
