What are your jewelry & clocks made from?

The colorful printed images you'll find in my work come from some new, but mostly vintage pre-printed tins.

Is your work durable?

Yes. A lot of thought goes into the construction and finishing of each piece that leaves my shop. Just like most jewelry, those made from tin, found and vintage items do not like to get wet and should not be worn in the pool, in the bath, or while doing dishes. It's also not a good idea to sleep in your jewelry.

Where do you get the tins?

I find most of my tins at thrift stores and yard sales. Sometimes people bring tins to me at shows, and it's not out of the question to find bags of tin waiting for me at my front door!

Do you paint the tin?

This is the most popular question! Nope. The colors and images you see are from the original tin. The challenge is finding the most interesting colors, images and patterns within each tin.
